To access the many great databases with the SFPL, you'll need your library card's barcode number (14 digits) and your PIN.  Go to the eLibrary tab, and choose Articles and Databases from the drop down. Some of the recommended databases for students are:

General OneFile - Comprehensive database of current periodicals, including academic journals and images

History Resource Center U.S. and History Resource Center World - Primary and secondary sources about U.S. and world history

Opposing Viewpoints - PRO/CON articles on a variety of controversial current issues

Student Resources in Context - Resources for all subject areas
