Project Overview

1. Choose a scientist.
2. Research and take
notes on NoodleTools.
3. Write a 5 paragraph paper about the scientist.
4. Create a slide presentation (Google Slides or Explain Everything)
5. Present to your class.

Project Process

1. Choose a scientist.

2. Research your scientist and take notes (using NoodleTools or print notecards)
    Summarize your notes

  • Name of scientist, date of birth/death, country
  • Field of science - with brief description
  • Scientist's career - where and when he worked
  • Scientist's accomplishment/s
  • How accomplishment/discovery is important to people living today and in the future
  • Connection - make a connection to a current event related to the scientist or the scientist's field
  • What you like about your scientist

      Use this Research Checklist to make sure you have all the
      information you need.

3. Write a five-paragraph essay.

4. Create a slide presentation about your scientist. 

5. Present your slide show.
