Instructions

  1. Choose a fossil from this list:  Dinosaur Fossils Found in North America or from the lists to the right  --->

  2. Gather information from at least 2 different sources. You must use sources listed in this libguide.

  3. Take notes on a Google Doc (share with Ms. Ditto):
    • Name of Fossilized Organism
    • Diet
    • Herbivore or carnivore
    • Anatomy
    • Locomotion - movement and speed
    • Predators
    • Habitat
    • Current location
    • Flora & Fauna:  plants and animals
    • Climate - temperature, rainfall
    • Time Period (i.e., Cretaceous, Jurassic, Triassic)
    • Years of time period
    • General description of time period
    • Factors possibly contributing to organism's extinction

  4.  Rewrite notes in your own words!

  5. Create Google Slides from Extinction & Fossils template
    Slides are due Friday, February 19th!

  6. Give oral presentation to class (Monday, Feb 22nd)
